The police discover a skeleton near the spot where Kyle was discovered. Meanwhile, Kyle is confused by the varying levels of lies people tell each other.

Kyle attempts to understand his emotions and sudden attraction to his next door neighbor, Amanda.

Kyle, Lori and Josh experience difficulties on the first day of school, and Nicole and Stephen receive a visit from Tom Foss.

Kyle becomes frustrated when he experiences his first flashes of memory. Also, it's Lori's birthday but she's not excited about it.

Kyle links his memory to a missing professor, but he finds a welcome distraction after joining the school basketball team. Meanwhile, Nicole gains a better understanding of Kyle's unique situation.

After an unusual hypnosis session, Kyle is determined to unlock his memory. Kyle accompanies Lori and Declan to the University of Washington to search for clues about Professor Kern and how his relationship ties in with Kyle.
